Robben´s Sakashta is not a Japanese LP copy at all. It´s built by one of the finest luthiers in the business and is made in the USA (although Taku Sakashta is indeed japanese). Not that it would matter to me, if it was indeed built in Japan. It does look like a LP, but only on the outside. But I wouldn´t call it a copy, but only inspired by the LP design. There are quite a few differences in the looks. Enough not to be taken for a Gibson, IMHO.
Every part is meticulously chosen. Woods, hardware, electronics. It´s chambered. And built to perfection. It costs around USD 10.000,00. I wished I could afford one.... but it´s way over my budget...

Agree...
and it really turns me off on wanting to donate or coming to the forum. Almost every week, there´s a PM popup asking for donations.

Great amp.... lots of tones.
Unfortunately, I moved to an apartment and don´t gig. It only has been played for a couple of hours..
Bought it at the end of 2008. No headcab on this one. To tell the truth, I was thinking to build or buy the head cabinet for this one.
Assembled by Ceriatone . Full working alluminum chassis with front and rear plates. It comes with the original JJ tubes.
Sellling it for 500€ + Shipping.
Pictures will come later.
(Europe only, sorry.)

I have bought a mojotone cab in the past for a Ceria 18W chassis
It was around 2 years ago and it was a perfect fit. If they didn´t change any specs since then you´ll be fine.

What is the Ground switch for? and where sould it be, at 1 N or 2?
Don´t worry about it. If you look inside the amp chassis, you´ll find out that the ground switch is not connected to anything. It´s just "there". Probably for cosmetic reasons..

Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Overtone Special vs Overtone Special S&M

Let´s see... I have an early Overtone. Quite similar to the S&M circuit. My Overtone was modded according to some mods posted at this forum by the user Jzucker. These mods were suggested to him by Scott Lerner and Gil Ayan (probably you know them). Currently, I think that Nik´s version of the Overtone incorporates most of these mods. Not all.. but a big part of those mods, yes.. For my taste, the OD sounds much better now. Less harsh, warmer and smoother. Of course, for some people, the S&M might sound better.. By the way, you are looking for sounds around Hilden, Ford and Lerner, right? Don´t know about Hilden, but Ford and Lerner gravitate more towards the HRM circuit. I know, I´m just making things even more difficult for you..

British Style / 18 Watt / Re: I need help deciding... too! TMB, TMB + ef86, Lead/Bass

I have a 36W TMB + ef86 with a half power switch. I love it.. very marshally on the TMB channel and jangly/voxy on the ef86.. but it´s not the kind of amp I would go if I want cleans. It breakups a bit early and it´s "magic" comes alive with a bit of volume and grind.... great great amp for classic 60s/70s rock, "british invasion" sounds and "hard" blues... Don´t know about Ceriatone cabs for the 18 or 36 watters, but I think it would be around the same size of a JTM45 headbox. As for the Kleinulator, there´s lots of info about it @ the Overtone forum.
