Nothing better than playing the amp you built for yourself.

Don't worry about 3mV difference... the amp will sound just as good.

I guess I have been fortunate to be able to build all those amps.

I hope there will be more to come... I really like doing it.
 

Those PCB boards definitely saves some valuable construction time.
... and I really don't see why using PCBs for those small boards would be a bad thing.

After all Dumble did the same thing.

Not a single post in Express thread in this year... not acceptable.

OK here it goes...
I build this Express for a guy who bought chassis, empty boards and a faceplate from Nik but than he decided it's to much for him. He populated the boards with the parts and then I took over and finished the amp for him.

 

At the end this amp found a box to live in...


...and the new owner is ecstatic about it.
 

I used 1M CTS Push-Pull pot and wired bright cap to that... I think I used 100p ( a little less than standard Fender 120p).

...and I think you will never be able to turn this amp in the Vibrolux territory... different preamp design even if you go with 6L6 power section.
I'm also not sure the standard transformers can handle 6L6 tubes.

No my HRM is not bypassed... I have another nonHRM amp for that kind of tones...
 

Here's my Bluesmaster in action... from the last gig we had.

...but some of that tone was also Xotic BB... don't remember what was amp and what was the pedal anymore 


...first minute or so was the sound check time... after that it was the gig it self

I will have to explore the jazz setting more. I don't know why but I just never go there.

As we all know Ceriatone layouts are standard and even upgraded....
...if you can't make the amp sound good using that.... than it's the BUILDER fault and not layout!!!!


So obvious conclusion don't you think.

I say don't even bother with these guys and don't get discouraged that easily.
