I got a cab for my 2550 from Gabkits.
I got 2 cabs and 2 2x12 speaker cabs from forum member Tenguitars here.
I will never go through Gabkits again!
Just my 2 cents

I am ashamed. I do have an ABY but the problem is I have 4 amps at the moment. I guess thats not a bad problem to have. I need to get a ABCDX pedal Wink Oh and 2 more speaker cabs Grin

I cant speak for which speaker to use for your bluesmaster since I do not have that model. Check posts by plasticvonaband for opinions on speakers as he has been through a few I believe.
I went with a custom built Dumble style 2x12 with open back race track style port for both my OTS's and I have no complaints. Forum member Tenguitars built these for me and may still be able to offer them. He has a post in the classified section. Might want to check on getting a head cab from him as well to save on shipping if your in the US of A.

Usually when the amp is cutting out after 15 min of play something is heating up and starting to fail. A bad solder can do this as well due to the metal expanding. I would certainly start by reflowing the solder connections.
I would think this could turn out to be something very simple but not necessarily.
Good news is that it works for 20 min's and isn't blowing fuses.
Make sure and post some pics in the 18watt section of this forum and I am sure you will get some good advice on getting this resolved.

The problem I have with having more than one OTS at the moment is when I play one of them I always feel like Im leaving the other one out Embarrassed Makes me sad.
Maybe ran in stereo they would be less lonesome, but then I would be leaving my 2550 out. Not gonna happen.

With the OTS FM you will want to also get  a C-lator or Kleinulator, etc.
Of-course any tube amp will sound better cranked but when you use the level on the *-lator as a MV it sounds great at low volume IMO.

Welcome
First, post some pics of the 18watt build here and maybe someone will be able to help diagnose the problem you are having. Also maybe describe in a little better detail the symptoms. Does it gradually get weaker and then die out or just all of the sudden off? Does the sound get harsh towards cutoff? etc.

Next, the cleans on the FM are great sounding cleans IMO and make a great pedal platform. As far as getting that Marshall violin tone I guess it would depend on the pedal but IMO no pedal compares to an actual Marshall amp. Maybe if you get that 18watt in order and an ABY with the FM you could get some nice variety of tone. I have not played an 18watt myself and use my 2550 for that.

Exactly
Even if you didn't use time based effects in the loop the C-lator is useful in amps loop for master volume and adds some compression as well. The FM is pretty bright without the C-lator in the loop.
Now if you didn't use anything in the amps loop at all i could imagine using a cable in the passive loop to maybe get rid of some of that brightness could help. Never tried it. Maybe thats what Nik meant?

I am not sure what you mean by putting a cord in the passive loop?
Some people here mention using high PF cables to smooth the highs.
I have my time based effects in the loop at all times pretty much and just use regular Livewire from GC cables without any concerns of having to even things out.

What other 2 amps have you ordered?
