Welcome  Wink

Looks really nice! Would be cool to hear what you think of the Overtone compared to the Fuchs.

BTW: Ich stamme auch aus dem schönen Deutschland  Grin

hallo mein english ist echt schlecht.
also overtone - fuchs

würde sagen so 2:0 ;-)

gruss helmut

Something like this...I think the fx-loop has a lot to do with it.

 overtone vs. fuchs

 2:0 would say so ;-)
the fuchs is noble, transparent, cleaner in tone. More the fender sound.
ceriatone is the dirty, rough, well, and unfortunately no Reverb or even active effects loop.
fuchs has the reverb - and the active effects loop is great.

but yes, I play both amps - both have their eligibility - and incidentally on the homepage www.prbluesband.com - as the youtube video - there is the koch studiotone combo amp - also not really bad  sounding.

gruss helmut

thanks for the translation ...to my ears (and I don't own a Fuch's and only have heard them on line) the OTS is a little raspier and not quite as refined.  Personally from my quite limited perspective I like the OTS by comparison of the net stuff.  I own an OTS and love it.  I imagine it is a matter of personal likes and dislikes.  If I could afford a Fuch's I would probably have one of those too!

Well, we discussed this here and on the gear page long time ago Angry. If you want DUMBLE then Overtone gets you there, not Fuchs which is lovely amp but as you’ve mentioned more fenderish, cleaner and polite.
And then there is My moded Ceriatone OTS which will kick any stock Fuchs’s ass, but not Scott Lerner’s moded Fuchs’s because he worked on his.
Moral of the story is! and I’ve mentioned this several times (unfortunately very few listens) IF YOU WANT PERFECT AMP and GREAT TONE – you have to WORK ON YOUR AMP!!!
Even Robben Ford does!!! Brings his amp to Alexander Dumble for tweaking once or twice every year.
And finally as we all know – tone is mainly in the hands of the player and good amp just helps to reveal it. Tongue

I certainly agree that the Fuchs is sweeter based on several soundclips I heared.
The FX-loop also has a lot to do with it.
Since I build my Dumblelator and used it with the OTS the overall sound is much more pleasing and less raw.
