I assume it's non-HRM.
After all, Nik said it's "single ended overtone special".

I'm getting desperate. I want to order another amp, its either a DC-30 or this SE and every week I wait the UK£ sinks further into the mire.

And then theres the talk of a 36watt/plexi hybrid! That sounds very very tempting.

I know what you mean. It looks like a happy hour for the amps is dying slowly. A month ago, I ordered a TW Expression and that was the last train for me, no more amps for me.  Cry
In a way I'm glad, 'cause at least I won't be tempted that easily anymore.

I doubt that you won't be tempted, perhaps just not enough to give in!

as a beginner who has yet to build his first amp, I am curious about this one. I'm itching to order my first kit and try building.

What is the S&M Special I wonder?

Its certainly not the SE, I can see two poweramp valves. Shame the link to the page isn't working yet.

I'm intrigued

Hello,

 It has to happen!  Grin

A scaled down, single ended overtone special.

Bare bones, but with all the tones...

This is my contribution (some at another place will argue it's my greed, but thats OK) for low volume D style amp, and for those on a budget.

It should serve as a good introduction to this style, without breaking the bank (I hope).

Price unknown yet but believe me I am trying hard to keep it real low for this type of handwired amp!

Thanks!

Nik

If the S&M is what he was talking about it's not any cheaper than the OTS.  Sad
