Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a ppimv for a jtm45 using a 500k dual pot?

Just use the LarMar-based one Ceriatone posts with the 500K pot.  Though I think most people prefer the 250K.  Still it doesn't hurt to try.

For a more traditional 500K PPIMV, all I can link is a schematic, but it's so amazing simple you should be able to apply it if you are planning on working in the amp.  (but I still think the LarMar is the way to go).

I decided to go with the LarMar based ppimv using a 500k dual pot. My only question now is the mv type2 diagram shows 2 - 2.2M resistors mounted to the 250k pot. Using a 500k pot, would the 2.2M value be ok, would I need a different value, would I need any resistors at all?

Yes, they don't quite correct as much, but you run into other issues if you try and increase them.  If the 500K don't satisfy, you are better off swapping the pot instead of those resistors.

So, the 2.2m's would be ok to use?

At Wyatt's recommendation (thanks again), I installed the LarMar based ppimv using a 250k dual pot. Very easy to install, sounds great. Gives you more tonal variety at a useable level.
