This video of my M100 SuperPlexi is the same spec. I use Nik's steel chassis for my M50 Plexi and M100 SuperPlexi amps. The transformers are made by Magnetic Components Inc., made in Chicago IL. It also has a JFET-based true bypass effects loop.

Here's a clip I put up on YouTube.com

I built a JCM800 2204 (50 watt). All parts from Nik except transformers/choke.

Turned out to be a great sounding amp. (Wasn't surprised by that) Wink

I modded it some - Removed the treble peaking components and used a 68k grid resistor. Went to 100pf across the PI plates. 5.6k on V1a cathode.

Hey, I wanted to add that I'm new here, and if posting clips to any amps other than Ceriatone is out of line, I apologize, and post can be removed. Thanks.

That said, Nik was gracious and added me to his list of service techs, so I suppose this is one way of authenticating myself. Wink

Here's a couple of clips of a 50 watt Plexi (1987x) amp I built recently.

And the amp:

I emailed Nik and he was gracious enough to provide his. There are differences between his (which appears to be correct), and that other one, namely the 22k power resistors. Those drop too much voltage. 2K2 is the better value IMO.

I wonder if anyone has the original schematic...
