I emailed Nik and he was gracious enough to provide his. There are differences between his (which appears to be correct), and that other one, namely the 22k power resistors. Those drop too much voltage. 2K2 is the better value IMO.

I wonder if anyone has the original schematic...

Nik also sent me a copy of his Spitfire layout so I could compare with my Ken Watts version I was building.  Nik is the man helping a guy out when not even working on one of his kits, thats customer service.
