1  Ceriatone / Overtone / OTS HRM Adjusting post-overdrive tonestack on: July 31, 2020, 01:44:21 PM
I know its been covered but...I`ve owned my HRM 100 for 3 months now and I love the amp...not so much the overdrive I like it but I think it could be better. I find it a bit harsh
and even worse with the PAB engaged so I would like to get inside the amp to set the internal trimmers to my liking. I know in the manual it says absolutly no tweaking this while the amps power is on....but sheesh...gonna be a pain trying to set these set without haveing the amp powered so any tips on how to be very very carfull while adjusting these?

thanks!!
2  Ceriatone / Overtone / Ceriatone HRM 100 & MXR Carbon copy delay Effects Loop Problems on: May 27, 2020, 04:34:26 PM
Ok so i`ve had my amp for a few month`s  now and I love it. I also have a Kleinulator for my reverb and delay pedals.
But.....man my carbon copy delay does not work properley in the effects loop (kleinulator). I have to max the send and return on the kleinulator and on the carbon copy the regen and mix to full on...sounds like SHT! heheh and hardly any delay or regen happening.

The delay pedal in front of the amp is ok!...I have good cables and only 10ft long from kleinulator to amp.

My reverb pedal (TC hall of fame) sounds fine in the kleinulator.

Maybe the carbon copy doesnt like being in the effects loop ??

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a similar experience with the HRM and mxr carbon copy in the loop!! thanks  Grin

4  Community / Classifieds / Re: Head Cabs for Ceriatone Overtone Special and HRM on: July 16, 2011, 01:31:42 PM

$165.00 plus shipping. USA sales.
I believe shipping and other fees would be too expensive to ship internationally.

That is too bad because i am having a hard time finding amp head cabs here in canada. I would rather buy one alwready built but....

I guess I will have to get my tools out and build my own...   Wink could be a fun project!!
5  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: HRM Post OD tonestack Bypass Mod via a switch on: July 16, 2011, 01:17:53 PM
I use a WGS ET-65 (G12-65 Clone). I dont find it to be very bright. I actually took the V30 out of my fender supersonic 60 and installed the ET-65 in it and it sounds much better. I installed the V30 in a custtom closed back cab that i built and i like the v30 better in the closed back cab.

I will definietly be looking at getting the mod done when i get my HRM.

I will probably get Nik to do the mod for me when i order the amp.
Just have to sell some gear before i can place my order.

9  Ceriatone / Overtone / HRM Post OD tonestack Bypass Mod via a switch on: July 14, 2011, 04:18:20 PM
Hi everyone!! Im a newbie
Im going to be purchasing a new HRM or non-HRM ceriatone amp im still not 100% sure in which direction to go. I seem to like the non-hrm clips more than the HRM clips. Since the HRM is more versatile im scared to miss out if I get the overtone special.

I asked nik if the HRM can be tweaked to sound like the non-hrm version and he mentioned that he could mod the HRM to bypass the post OD tonestack via a switch on the HRM.

Just wondering if anyone has done this? if so how does it affect the  tone?

Thanks!
