Just got my kleinulator. It's !@#$! amazing! Not only does it make the pedals sound "right" but it allows you to add some gain in the loop which turns out to make the sound of the amp all that much more amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

+1  1265 isn't as dark.  BUT, I do like the RW&B's.

You can +1000. I have made recordings with both speakers with the same amp settings and mic positions as well as played them for friends. The 1265 is definitely muffled but if you *ONLY* want the robben-tone, it's the better of the 2 speakers. I'd rather have an EV12L though.

Yeah ,,, Huh?
Emi RWB is definitely darker than 1265  IMO

Sorry, I have to disagree. The 1265 is like a blanket over the speaker. No highs or lows and sounds awful with a strat.

Here's a clip of the ceriatone in a clean setting, eventide timefactor in the loop

98  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Is there reverb on the Overtone? If not what do you suggest? on: April 18, 2008, 04:55:36 PM
i've experimented with a digitech digiverb in the loop followed by an eventide timefactor. I leave the input of the timefactor on guitar but switch the output to line level and it seems to recover the volume loss and the amp sounds great like that. My klein-ulator should be arriving today or monday.

I use a little reverb with OD sounds.
103  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Speaker choice on: April 17, 2008, 07:51:35 PM
i'm not sure 10s are a good choice for a dumble though they probably would sound great for the clean channel when it's pushed. I can't help you with the british speakers other than the 1265 because that's the only one I've played with a d-clone amp. The 1265 is the best speaker other than an EV for the robben sound but overall I don't like it. Sounds awful with a strat IMO. I don't think you'll need any more bottom than what a RW&B speaker has. Not sure a texas speaker would be a great match for a d-clone amp either.

I can't wait to get mine. I'm totally psyched about it. Thanks so much Mike.
