Hey Marin...I haven't been around in quite a while....great to see you're still very active around here!  Sounding great as always....
OK, so what is going on?  What's the 2 amps in the video clips?  One looks just like my Overtone Special...and the other one looks similar but it's called something different (the logo/name?)
Are there new models?  Are there mods?   In my opinion, even though they sound very similar, the Non-HRM sounds better to me...a little smoother and more like robben ford tones I'm always chasing.

SO, bring me up to speed!!!

Yes, my recording technique is VERY primitive.  I just set my kodak digital camera on my desk next to my computer speakers that are playing the backing tracks, and my amp is across the room (which is why it sounds distant!)   I have a video camera that takes much better quality video, but I really don't have any way  to mic the amp into the computer with the music tracks and sync the video....ANYONE want to help me out here?

Okay...here's another clip...I tried a JJ preamp tube instead of the stock tungsol...not much difference, but I'm really loving this amp!!!

I really liked that one, Marin!  I keep trying to find the time to do some clips, but it's hard with a house full of kids and a constant "honeydo" list

Well....we're an emi dealer....so maybe I'll order a couple of different speakers to try out...does anyone know which ones are closest to the G12-65?

The overdriven tones in the overtone seem a tiny bit harsh for my tastes...I'm playing through V30s...so, maybe the G12-65 would smooth it out perfectly...any thoughts on that?

I'm really looking forward to your review, and hearing your chops through the amp!

how do you sync the video and audio?  or is the computer capturing the video live as your video camera is recording?  i have a digital cam corder that uses dv tapes....do i need a video capture card for the pc?
