Hi Relicula...welcome to the forum. Those clips floating around did it for me to!!! I have 2 - 4 weeks of waiting to go...I'm counting down the days That seems to be how it happens...Mine should be finished very soon, too....(right, NIK???.....NIK?....) I'll post some clips, too...I'm sure it will sound different with each person's individual technique, but hopefully, the fundamental tone should be able to get you into RF territory. STAY TUNED, INDEED!

Why do you think it's not RF territory? I think if you phrased like him, and maybe backed the gain off a tiny bit, it would nail his tone!!!

Hey and thanks for posting the clean clip...but I need to ask: How are the tone controls set? It seems to have no bottom end at all? Are the clips pretty true to how it sounds? Your distorted tones on your video clip are great, but the clean clip worries me a little.

Hey...could someone show a closer pic of the front of the control panel and explain the contols? (besides the obvious "input" and the tone controls) Thanks....
I have a kit on the way, and am just very anxious...I know i love the dumble sound cips I've heard, but other than that, I'm not familiar with the control panel and features.
Thanks so much!

what (technically) do the deep and rock switches do? After reading a lot of the reviews, it seems that a lot of people here like their overtones, but aren't quite getting the Robben Ford/Larry Carlton tones they were hoping for. While I realize that much of that comes from technique and fingers, it seems to me that a lot of that magic smoothness comes in the mids of an amp....does anyone agree and/or has this been addressed (in a mod or tone settings that a new owner might not know of?)
thanks!!!

Chris, nice work man! What's the story behind the "August" badges? I love that name (that's my birthday month) But...there is something major wrong with the guitar beside the amp...it's...it's....backwards! How did that happen? What are your thoughts now of the D'lite versus the Overtone? -Jeff Chassis dimensions are 19.25 x 8 x 2.5. Once I get mine I will build a head cab in the traditional Fuchs, Two Rock....etc style. I will post those plans. Also, a combo cab is pretty easy as well. Here is a wide body combo I threw together for my D'Lite. (on the left)

where did you get the control panels? which fender trannies did you use? Twin style? How do they differ from what Nik uses (other than the output wattage?)
thanks for sharing with us!

This is probably a dumb question....but that is the schematic, correct? Is there a front panel layout anywhere that discusses the controls and what they do, as well as the internal trim controls? (i guess something like a MANUAL)

Hey...thanks for sharing the clips!!! I like the mids that the Anderson adds versus the Strat. Other than more gain, how different were the amp settings? Also, have you played with the internal trim pots yet? thanks! -Jeff And another which i did this moring. Higher gain lead with a bit of delay:

I ordered the kit, too....Nik said he was just waiting for some parts to come in (and he should have them next week). Once he gets those, he said I should get the kit much sooner than the amp (I'm assuming a couple of weeks as opposed to 6-8 weeks) Did you order the head box, too or just the chassis? I'll be posting some clips as soon as I get it in and put it together. Did you guys get an e-mail from Niki telling you your amp shipped, or did it just show up? Can't wait for mine to get here but I don't want to keep bugging Niki with e-mail "is it ready yet..." I'm waiting on a kit/parts so I hope it is not 6 weeks. Did Niki say how long for the kit?

Newbie here... Just ordered mine last night...I couldn't wait the 6-8 weeks, so I got the kit. My friend (and amp tech) has no idea...I'm just gonna' show up at his house with this stuff.
I just wanted to say how nice it was to deal with Nik...he's been so helpful, patient, and friendly...quite refreshing.
Now the waiting...oh, it hurts...IT HURTS!!!
Any Music Man guitar players here? I'm an AXIS fanatic, and can't wait to hear the axis with the overtone!
