Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Is there reverb on the Overtone? If not what do you suggest?

I had and sold a Mr Springgy. For me, it didn't work thay well in the Overtone loop. I tried it in front of a Fender and it sounded great. So, I'd say it belongs in front of an amp not in a loop. I plan to get a Nova Delay to use in the loop. A little delay works better for me than a little reverb anyway. Just my preference.

I tried mine through a pair of Blues and it sounded good. I was afraid I'd blow them though so now I'm using 2 G12H. I'm currently dealing for a pair of G12-65. If you can't beat em join em.

There are several trimmers on the chassis, I have heard reference to the OD trimmer but not the others. What are they?

The Boogie lead tone (to me) was more of a modern tone. I like old school, the OT reminds me of a Plexi in a way. I'm probably alone in that but it does me.

I owned a MK IV. This amp sound far better. It doesn't do metal, that's the only place I can see the MK IV has anything to offer over it. The cleans are so nice, the boost is wonderful. I don't use the boost on the lead channel, this way the tone stack can be dialed in for the lead channel, makes for better foot switching. Also a Zvex Box of Rock works very well in front of the amp too. I think you'll be happy.
