nice tones and playing bro

I pretty much use the boost as my clean sound then use the tone stack just for the od. I set as follows

treb on
deep on
rock
Treble 2
Mid 5
Bass 7
Level 3
Ratio 4
Master 1-2
Pres 4

My amp has all the J Zucker tweeks except I have 330 pf caps on V2.

I play a strat and keep the guitars volume backed off on the boost and on the od. With both off I open the guitar up and can use pedals if I want.

I have a Kleinulator on the way, I hope the 9v plug thing has been sorted out. I also snagged a TC G Sharp to put in the loop.

I was pretty sure that wasn't you Jack but it were I was going to say the opouration was 100% successful.

Some fuzz too maybe?

Stock value was 270 pf followed by 330 pf (that's what's in my amp currently) now I see guys using 390 pf. What would I gain by changing from 330 to 390? Is it worth the effort?

All I can say is if HAD was dead he'd be rolling over in his grave right now. As he's alive though I guess he'll just have to soil himself. I've never heard a D amp make tones like that! Sounded great!!

I got my "tweek" parts in yesterday from Nik. I went with him to make sure I was getting the correct parts. $20.00 shipped.

I put them in last night and the amp fired up (whew  ). First impression, the clean channel is even better. The od is different, I don't know if I'd say it was better at this point. I think I might need to readjust the internal trimmer?

I really like the Zvex Box of Rock in front of the Overtone. (to me) I can get tweed od on the clean channel and what I'd call plexi sounding tones on the od when boosting the amp with the BOR.

You might not agree but that's how I hear it.

I ordered the mod parts from Nik, $20.00 for everything shipped. They haven't shown up yet though.

Me too, I could only do a couple as some of the parts I orderd aren't right. I so happy the amp fired up that I'm not sure about the tweeks, I'd say I like them but I need some time to tell for sure.
