Hi Nik,

I think it's a clever move from you - If it makes good sense too you - by alle means go ahead and do it ! Let your amps (and prices) speak for them selves and you should be just fine ( I hope !) Smiley

What ever some americans choose to do - I will still be loving your amps !
17  Ceriatone / Overtone / Suddenly Kleinulator sounds bad .... on: March 25, 2009, 07:52:02 PM
Hi guys,
Today I got to spend på few hours building my new rack setup. But when I plug in my Klein the amp gets dull, it looses a lot of bass and it gets sort of ehm...... "farty" on the 3 deepest strings.

Does anyone have a clue of what the problem is?

I thought there would be more people at Ceriatone. Only 4 including Nik?

Man those guys must be busy as hell... and if I see right, they are working without using any layouts.
So those guys know every amps layout by hard.  Shocked Shocked

If my memory serves me right - there where 6 emplyees. And I don't remember seieing any layouts lying around Smiley

Hey, I ordered a 2550 a couple weeks ago. Did find out anything interesting about the "Silver Jubilee thingy" ?

Congratulations on your new amp !

I realle didn't get too much into it - The high gain stuff isn't my expertise Smiley

But I'm sure that it sounds just right !

And did you see anything of that OTS SE by any chance?

No - sadly - We talked a lot about the new "Marshall Silver Jubilee-thingy" but didn't get around to the SE

Or you could feed the Klein from the 12 VDC realy supply inside the OTS

Really ? Can the Klein take 12VDC ?
That would be great !

i fits right in there - I need to take out a little bit of the small wood pieces that the backplate is fitted to - But there in enough room for it to fit in there if you place it so that the volume controls faces towards you when you look at it from the back.
Furthermore it will be easy to mount send and return jacks in the backplate so that you can eassily connect external efx.
AND - I'm thinking about placing a 9V adapter below the power tubes in the cab. This should be connected to power inlet - that way when you plug in power to the amp the Kleinulator wil turn On as well.....

Hi all,

Have any one of you tried ro place the Kleinulator inside the cab to the OTS ?

I think that if I make a new back plate it should be able to fit below the pre amp tubes.

Any experiences on this ?

Hi All,

A couple of weeks ago i was vacationing in Malaysia with my wife. I emailed Nik and was forunate enough to be able to go an visit him at his factory i Kuala Lumpur.

I took a taxi from downtown and finally arrived at his place. MAN was that a treat !!!!!
Nik is indeed a very nice man ! - And his employees are just the same !

Unfortunaltely I didn't have all the time in the world there - the taxi driver was waiting (and my wife  Smiley )but I did get to play the Blues Master - MAN, that´s a great sounding amp  Cool
We did a quick tour of the place and I got to meet all the folks there - If you're ever in the neighbourhood be sure to drop by !!!

Heres a couple of picks from my visit there :

30  Ceriatone / Overtone / Kleinulator settings ? on: March 09, 2009, 06:50:35 AM
Hi Guys,

In week 7+8 I was on holiday in Malaysia. I was so fortunate to be able to visit Nik at his factory while I was there. - I will post a few pictures later and write a little story about it !  Smiley

I bought a klein from Nok while I was there (not enough room for a 18W in my backpack  Huh?) and I am currently messing with it and my rack gear (TC Electronics G-Force) to get the settings right.
I run my Volume at 2 o'clock, treble 10 o'clock, middle 12-13 o'clock an bass at 12-13 o'clock. With theese settings i run the Klein at (from top to bottom) 4 o'clock, 2 o'clock and 5 o'clock.

What settings do you guys use ?
