UPDATE...Nik responded to my email and confirmed that he is changing the plugs to 2.1mm and they are negative center.
I have to contact Nik for a 1044S chip, mine has blow, and there is no electronic shop which can have it for me ....

Anybody have a link to ordering a 9v supply that fits the Klein?
All you need is a 2.5 mm plug. Cut the 2.1 off of the Boss adapter and solder the 2.5 on. You should be in business. I suggest the opposite, change the Kleinulator's plug

No electronics shop around? I asled a friend to solder a short extension cable with a female 2.1mm plug and a male 2.5mm plug.
No electronic shop around, I have to take a car and drive for about 45mins to find an electronic shop....

Ok, I find the problem, one wire has been unsoldered (certainly because of DHL).
However I've contacted Nik and he's gonna send me the kleinulator's layout to know where to re-solder the wire.

My kleinulator doesn't works.
I solder a 9v battery plug on it to use it (I don't have any adaptator for the 9v Plug, and I have to build another 9v plug to change the one wich is actualy on the kleinulator).
The light of the kleinulator confirm that the device is working, but when I plugg the kleinulator in the overtone loop I have NO SOUND at all, no buzz from my cheap strat NOTHING. (send form the amp => input of the klein, return of the amp => output of the kleinulator, and send & return of the klein connected to my delay pedal).
I will send a mail to nik, maybe the kleinulator has been damaged by DHL...

14.30? or 10.00? hard to tell
Nathan. was this the stock setting as delivered? I thought the OTS was stock at 10.30 or something like that?
No it's not the stock setting ! The stiock was 10 O'clock I set the trimmer at 8 / 9 o'clock but it still a bit agressive (the picture was made with a different setting that I didn't like, to know if I turn my trimmer in the right side ^^)

So...a Boss style adaptor doesn't work? Is the center pin neg. or pos.?
No standart boss doesn't work. Standart boss is 2.1mm and I think Nik's ones are 2.5mm.

Woaw just receive my overtone. My impression are a bit the same as Steven_nl's ones The clean channel is IMPRESSIVE, it can be thin, or warm, jazzy, bluesy, for those who wondering if you can have a fenderish bluesy tone with a strat, I YES and what a tone !!! And for those who wondering if you can approach the John Mayer's clean tone I say yes. I plugged my little Marshall Compressor one the clean Channel, and damn, I can't say that I have (with my cheap mexican strat) the Mayer/TwoRock's clean tone, but I'm REALLY REALLY close. As Steven_nl's said, the OD channel need some tweaking to find a good setting with single coils (I mainly play stratocaster), this week-end I will try different 12ax7 (I have several NOS in my other amp (mullar, RTF, Phillips, Miniwatt) (If someone can told me wich ones is the V1, V2 etc and what they do it would be helpfull). I will try different setting to attenuate the little big "aggressive" tone of the OD Channel. I think I will have a great week-end eheh Try to turn the od trim way down to 8:30-09:00 - its a much less agressive sound, just a tip Like this ? ? http://img75.imageshack.us/img75/9194/dscf2866fs8.jpg

Hi,
I'm wondering how far the actual layout is from the modded layout ?
I receive my overtone today and I want to tweak a little bit the Overdrive channel which is a bit aggressive to my ears and taste.
There a little "peak" in upper frequencies or something that I can't describe with word that make the OD sound a little too bright / aggressive.

Much more than I was expected, consider that my packtage has been sent the July 02, 2008 in the late afternoon (local hoor) and that I'm living in France. I think that is a question of hours from now

Is it possible the "fizz" may be partially due to the low volume with high gain? I am no technical guru but as one who plays at home volumes a lot that fizzy thing is common (when low with gain) on several amps I have had. Until they reach that point where they open up enough to hear the amps voice. I call it the break over point and every amp I have had has one. In other words, in my experience you don't get the full plate of tone until the amp is allowed to speak loud enough to get it all out. The fizz in my experience is like an amp that is choked and only a smidge of what it is trying to say is allowed to come out. Now, hows that for technical prowess? ? I totaly agree ! It is also what I pulled of my amp's experiences Every tube amp need some volume to sound good, under a certain volume, when you put some gain (from the amp or from pedal) the amp will sound "fuzzy" and "narrow".
