Dont underestimate the power and tone of a good 4x12 with these amps, something with Celestion G12-65's or WGS ET-65's or even if your back can take it 4xEVM12L's

A bit late, I bought a EVM12L about 6 months ago from the US

Another HRM 50 user here in Perth, good to see some Aussies getting onboard with great amps

BTW mine has a stick on label inside near the PT with the build date

As far as I can work out only 1 has failed and it was the clean side of V1 and it was with a band I mainly play in the clean channel only.
I will get in touch with the shop and see if they will replace it. Pity they sound great

I bought 2 Mullard 12AX7 RI's online from a store in Sydney a few weeks ago and the shop took forever to post them.

They sounded great when they were working but half way through a set on their 1st outing I started to get volume drops.

First I thought it was a dodgy lead and struggled through the rest of the night, got the amp home fired it up and nothing but a very week signal so I swapped out V1 and full glorious sound again, so its back to JJ's in V1 & V2.

I won't be buying another set 

I have only heard good things about them, it should work realy well.

I have replaced my stock OT Trannie in my 50w OTS HRM with a Magnetic Components #40-18001 which has M6 Iron.
The first thing I noticed was a bit more woodier tone in the clean channel and smoother lead channel.
The tone controls seem to be a bit more responsive too.
Not a massive change but certainly worth investigating

I did have a hiss in mine when I first put it together and it turned ouut to be a bad solder joint

I run WGS ET-65's (Celestion G12-65 Clones) in a 4x12 Cab or EVM12L Classic in a Theile Cab depending on the venue

I should of said "this amp" not "these amps", mine is a HRM not a BM
And from what I can gather from clips other people have posted, these 2 amps are different sounding.

The only other Ceriatone "D Clone" that I have heard in person is a OTS50 another guitarist in town owns and that sounds different again. He doesn't know if it is a S&M version or modded or not, he bought it off EBay.

I don't run a lot of gain at all, more of a boosted clean, but without the C-Lator it sounds raw and harsh in both channels, the C-Lator takes the edge of it.

For Higher Gain stuff I do another band I use the Stray Cat

I broke the Power On/Off switch last night on my C-Lator whilst taking taking the cover off the rack unit, the front cover slipped undoing the latches and it hit the switch.

So I went without it and whole night I kept on fiddling with my amp settings and hated the sound I was getting.

I don't think I could live with these amps without a C_Lator in the loop, very harsh sounding, to my ears anyway.

I also have a Kleinulator, I start taking that to gigs as a backup incase something similar happens again.

After months of scraping & saving & working 2 jobs. I have finally paid off my Les Paul R9 VOS and got it home yesterday.

I did mine using the unused earth lift switch on the back of the amp.
I bypassed the HRM stack and have never switched it back , personal perference though

Maybe they have changed the plugs since I bought my amp, because I am switching the channels on my amp via patches using my TC Electronic G Major's relays.
All I used was an old midi cable and cut one end off and soldered a 1/4" RTS plug to go into the back of the G Major.
