Would these mods be us full with my OTS 50?
Also I was wondering if it would be possible to convert my 50 watt to a 100 watt.
I have the extra tube slots, I'm guessing a transformer swap would be the next step.

Let’s forget for a moment about RG-400 cable and C-lator. Let’s make amp sound great without the additional gizmos. Afterwards it will sound fantastic with them as well.
1. Change 100k slope resistor to 68k 2watt. – bit more lower mids, compression and touch sensitivity.
2. add second 250pf capacitor to B2 tube, do not remove B1 250pf !!!
3. Put 3 way switch on master volume with OFF, 33, and 64pf caps.
4. Change RATIO’s (X) feeding 150k resistor to 10k and following 0,005mf cap to 0,01. You will thank me later.
5. Change MID-BOOST’s 390pf cap to 470, sweeter tone.
6. 12 way rotary is a very useful addition.

Good luck

Shad's a good friend of mine and I'm thrilled I'm finally having him build me an amp.
I'm bummed he he moved to AZ it was great having him 20 miles away.

Yeah the rack thing is really a pain in the ass for just blues jams so I just picked up a small Fender Combo
and I use a Carl Martin Plexitone for my drive sound.

I'm not a fan of any Fuchs products due to many problems with the company, I bought 2 amps and 2 of the loops pedals
all of them broke down or arrived non functioning. I was treated like garbage by Andy and his company and was actually paid
off to keep my mouth shut after my last Verbulator completely crapped out on me. you should see the emails I saved when i was going back and
forth with Andy after my $4,000.00 Fuchs TDS broke down twice on me and I finally had to get a refund.
So in short I would stay away from anything that jack ass produces. Go with a C-ulator or the Qiunn Loopalator.
There is a used Quinn on the gear Page for $375.00 which is a great deal and Shad backs up his stuff.
I'm having him build me a SDO right now.

I ended up with a Glaswerks Matchbox and the only advantage is the stereo out option.
I got one used but I still ended up paying $400.00, I didn't want to wait and had gigs lined up and wanted to use
my OTS. He also has a version with reverb on board which I might pick up as well but overall I think they all
sound the same. The Glaswerks also has an extra 12AX7 but I couldn't tell you if it makes a difference since I've only
owned the one unit and have nothing to compare it to other then clips on the web.

Just get the George L solderless cable ends and you will have cables done in a matter of minutes.
I put together my RG-400 cables in less then 5 minutes.

Great clip I've started to mix the EVL's with the 65's and it sounds great.

Found it thanks!

Thanks for the tip I'll get on that right now. That would give me allot of flexibility.
10  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: What pedals are you guys using with your Overtones? on: October 15, 2011, 12:02:27 AM
Currently on my board is a Fulltone Deluxe Clyde wah, isp Decimator and a TC Tuner through the front end.
Then I have either and Eventide Time Factor or a TC G Major 2 out to a Glaswerks Matchbox wired up with RG-400 coax.
The rest of the cable is Mogami. This is all fed out to either a Glaswerks 2x12 loaded with EVL's or a Hermidia 2x12 front ported cab loaded with
vintage G12-65's.

The external unit is mainly for controlling the levels of your effects going through the loop. As you turn up
your effects are going to get to hot running through the loop and will be a bit washed out.
Also if you play out like I do the external loops acts as another master vollume so you can get your sweet spot on the amp
and then turn it down through the external unit. I played out once without it one time when I had a bad cable in my board
and I didn't have time to find it since I had just hit the stage and the sounds was not as good. It really warms up the amp
when running effects. I ended up getting the Glaswerks Matchbox and will be upgrading later to his  reverb unit.

Here is mine in action with an Eventide Time Factor run through a Suhr Mini Mix 2 into the Glaswerks in parallel.

I've scaled back a little, I sold the black Les Paul to Dean Deleo of STP and traded the Bogner Classic
