nice.... i'm planning to use mine with a tc electronics G-System... the guys over at tc electronics tell me that by using a 'breakout box' the din connector of the footswitch can be converted into relays so i can assign the switches to buttons on the G-Sys. Hopefully it'll work!!

How do you find the Two Rock Cabs with the amp?

Also wats that on top of the Overtone

The Two Rock cabinets are nice big open sounding cabinets. the unit on top of my OTS is a Mr. Springy reverb -works great with the OTS.

A supposed Fuchs 1x12" front ported, closed-back cab.  I found it at Austin Vintage Guitar last month for $150 unloaded.  Right now it has a WGS E65 (Celestion g12-65 clone) in it, but I'm thinking about putting in my EVM12L Classic.

I don't really know if this is a Fuchs cab or not.  It looks very well made, but most of Andy's stuff is also A LOT more expensive.  Admittedly, I did buy this used & it has a few dings, scratches, and gouges in it, but $150?  I gotta get some good pics of it & send 'em to Andy to find out for sure.

hey if it sounds good badges don't count!

fair play it seems like you got a bargain!

just while you're thinking of replacing the speaker, i emailed nik about cabinets and speakers a while back and this is the response he gave me...

"As for speaker cabs, I'd say speakers would be a big part of it. If you can get the old EV M12L speaker, it'd be great. These are often found in Pa cabinets - Fender, Carvin, Peavey and such. Sometimes, you can get these cheap used. Then, you can perhaps make or commision a 1x12 cab."

Maybe something to think about?

Yeah, I've had the amp for about a month now, just without a head cab.  While it was "naked", I tried the EVM12L Classic & the WGS E65, right now the 65 is what's in the cab.  I love the sound of the 65, the weight is another thing compared to the EV, but the EV does sound great, too.  What I'm really waiting on is the opportunity to turn this thing up, then I'll have a baseline re:  E65 vs EVM12L.

Also, since the EV is 16ohm, I could eventually augment my setup with another 1x12" cab, 16ohm speaker (perhaps a Celestion Heritage G12-65) & get a total load of ~8 ohms.

I have a Kleinulator and a TC Electronic Nova Delay, that's all.  I have a Barber Small Fry and a Vox V847 wah, as well, but I'm not using those at this time.

I've never used the DD-20 or the DL4, but the Nova sounds great.  I did have a DD3, an Ibanez RI AD9, and an original Roland Space Echo RE-201 for quite awhile.  The Nova does great tape sounds, analog sounds, and (obviously) fantastic 2290-esque sounds.  Admittedly, it is A LOT of pedal to get a handle on, & I haven't even begun to really figure it out.
