thanks Steven. I was looking for a modern, mesa boogie type of tone. I didn't really mean to pollute the forum with it! Grin

I don't think it's the amp...the tone is in his fingers Grin

thanks guys.

Steven, essentially it is only the Overtone. There is no OD pedal or something like that. The gain was set pretty much to the max (no PAB) and with the Rock switch on. I did a bit of post processing with the delay and reverb, but no compression.

poipounder57: fingers....yeah, perhaps.  I had a friend over yesterday and he tried the Ceriatone and he dialing in tones which simply weren't "mine". I guess that tone may be in the "fingers" but I am beginning to think that "tone is in the dialing" too. Smiley

thanks

Hello all,

I'm thinking over to order a Overtone.
Thanks for all your clips, very helpfull.

Especially Marin, for all your efforts and of course your nice playing....

2 questions;

Just got the info that a " HRM " is coming up.
Can anybody tell me the difference, with the Overtone ?

Where to find these nice backing tracks Marin is using?

Bye Maus

Hi,

Thanks for the link.
""HRM"" has become (more) clear to me, only would like to hear the sound difference.
Think we have to wait for that, until this new amp/mod comes to the market.

However, for me, i'm not into the Fusion-HRM,  but more Blues-non HRM.

(But at the end, we want to tweak non the less...)

From what i hear from the clips, there is little to nothing to improve on the sound clean/distorted from the Overtone as is.  ... beautifull

Thanks & Bye Maus

Greetings,

I hadn't had a chance to play this amp in a couple of weeks and was feeling the love today.
Put together an mp3 & took some liberties with a freaking OLD tune by Blind Faith.

Outstanding!!  I've heard some comments about the Dumble "Bluesbreaker" circuit. Maybe that's one other direction the non-hrm circuit could take. You are certainly getting some good mild overdrive tones out of yours.

I'd be really interested to know what your settings were, what guitar/pups etc. Any FX?

Thanks

That's the tone I like & am getting from my OT- just wish I was just as nimble as you on the fretboard- really righteous & tasty chops my friend- you sure you're not related to Robben Ford with Joe Bonamassa as your second cousin?! Grin Grin Grin   Great stuff- more please!
