Thanks,

Yeah bluesmaster(high plate/skyliner)......It came alive when I got to turn it up for the first time.

I can't wait to put some NOS pre amp tubes in it.

Are you sure about the skyliner. Usually Bluesmaster has its own tonestack more or less derived from a Fender Bassman/Marshall ditto.

Yeah it does have the Skyliner Eq,I specifically asked for it. The skyline Eq seems to have more frequency bandwidth

It will probably be on par, when you've put as much time into it as you have on your guitar chops.

I actually took singing lessons for a while but the teacher would talk to me for a half an hour and burn up my time. I was paying $25 for 45 min.

Thats a really nice SRV sound you've got there. So different to the OTS. Obviously a strat but pups? what about the speakers?

Afte I've finished my Plexi build, unless Nik brings an AB763 or a Matchless Chieftain model out I will be going for a BM 100. Care to share what mods were done to yours? It suer does sound nice.

Thanks,

Yeah the strat pups are single coils(under wound single coils). and the speaker is a Old Mesa Boogie Labeled EVM-12-L from the 80's that's been around the block Grin
The mods in the amp are: Skyliner EQ, Made to sound not as bright as the orig. BM.
The OD side was made to sound more like the standard HRM as opposed to the BM OD.

I am using a Holy Grail Verb in the loop too.

So in essence your preamp is a standard HRM?, but the poweramp is a BM

Would be good if you could if you could mark up your changes on Niks layout drawing and post it in this thread http://ceriatoneforum.com/index.php?topic=28.0. Its a great aid for others wishing to tweak component values and is especially useful when there are sound clips to accompany the mods.

Thanks
