I am curremtly building my Hrm and was using Mcintu,s BM thread as my guide as its my first build .Q1- is it important that all capacitors are wired for correct polarity as only some are marked. Q2 using Mcintu.s pics I wired up the heaters using black white , but now suspect I should have used red black. which appear to be larger gauge . since both are 50w suspect this is no biggie. but put my mind at rest

I had the same question but those wires are only carrying something like 6.3volts so it should be ok.

No worries about the heater wires... as djroge pointed out not much stress on those wires...and also, Nik is using the same wires in his builds.
Here's a prove  Grin

About the caps... all electrolytic caps are already wired, so don't need to worry about those. You need to do some ceramic ones... and for those is not important how you wire it. About PS caps... it will work no matter how you wire those, although some will say it's important to wire them correctly.
