Hi
Ive had my HRM less than a week now and all I can say is what an amp, it lived up to all expectations and then some.

I tried it out last night at rehearsals and it just sounded better as the night went on, all the other band members were blown away with the tone.

I used my Rory Gallagher Strat which has the the lowest output pickups in it (5.7K all round) and ran the head through my Fender Supersonic 2x12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30's.

My Amp Setting were
Guitar in the HI input
Gain at 6
Bass Boost On
Mid Boost On
Rock Setting
Treble on 6
Mids on 4 1/2
Bass on 4 1/2
Drive on 3 1/2
Level on 1 1/2
Master on 1 1/2
Presence on 6
Gain Ratio on the back at 3 1/2
Both Pull Bright knobs in

I sure these settings will change over time as I get use to the amp and also when things settle down after the burn in period.

All night I could feel the Cab wacking in the back of my legs with really tight clean bass, the cleans in this are to die for.

The lead sound is fat and rich, sort in the Mesa Boogie Mark 2&3 series amp gain territory but with its own distinct sound.

I did try my Mesa V Twin pedal through it and switched it of straight away because it sounded crap compared to the HRM lead sound and I use to think the V Twin sounded great and now I think I will flog it off on Ebay.

Full marks to Nik and his team for building such a great amp, Im totaly impressed.

Cheers
Brian

Sine I got my D-style amps my pedalboard is more or less dormant as well.

...but I just can't sell anything... it took me so long to get the tone which I liked. Nowadays I just use it at home with my Champ.
