Hi

I've just installed a couple of Tungsram ECC83 NOS tubes in position V1 and V2... And WOW I thought the amp sound amazing before (and it did), but now it sounds even more amazing...

I had a couple of stock JJ ECC83 before...

With the tungsram tubes the clean channel opens up even more, and with a more punchy bass, and shiny trebles... Even the OD channel breaks up extremely nice... It's more naturally sounding OD than before... definetly worth changing your preamp tubes Smiley

Yes,

I like the tungsram ecc83's as well. I use them in my Groove Tubes Soul-O 45 as well and the tone is very warm and smooth.

I just received my OTS and have been trying different preamp tubes. I have the Tungsram in V1 and an RFT in V2. I will probably get another Tungsram to have in V2.

I would rather kkep the 12ax7 type tubes rather than going to a 12ay7 or less.
