Ok, There is a long piece of striped solid wire that is fairly brittle, what exactly is it used for? It came with the Overtone kit, in the WIRE bag.

There several other wires listed, "Teflon large, Teflon small, ect.." are there specific uses for those as well?

And the twisted black and white wires going to the tubes, what is the purpose of the twist?

My build is going very slow, so much to do it's hard to figure where to start.
Mostly what I've done is install hardware, 2 or 3 solder joints, stuff like that.

Still got to order the tranny's and figure out a head cab.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

My colour system didn't match the ceriatone diag.  So use it where you need a solid core wire like the the pot buss/ rear jacks.
The heater wires when twisted are supposed to reduce noise. Some solid wire here would also help the build. Also read some post on running the heaters like a fender not the Marshall style that nik does.

A tip is to build the whole pot buss reversed in the chassis then install it.
this link may help you. It's for a d-lite but a similar process.
