Been wanting an OTS for quite a while. I've had a lot of amps and modelers through the years but nothing has brought me the satisfaction that my Ceriatone 5E3 has. Going on three years and the honeymoon is still on. I think an OTS would compliment it nicely. Finally took the plunge a couple weeks ago and ordered what I think is the first OTS Ford Mustang 50. It will be in a head cab with a c-lator built into the cab.

As usual, Nik has been great to deal with. Thanks to all here who have posted their thoughts, experiments, and sound clips. I've poured over them many times in the last couple years, and in the end, that is all there is to go on when purchasing one of these amps. When I get mine, and spend some time with it, I'll try to do the same.

Zeeman

Thats great!

It should be out next week. We have some holidays here currently (Malaysia has too many holidays, in my book), so will try Tuesday or Wednesday.

Do post clips if you can. I really like this version.

Thanks!

...not that I need another amp but I'm looking forward to hear what these newcomers can do.

I'll be waiting for your clips...

Guys

First, the changes are minimal to do it, really.

I have marked (hope I covered all) where the differences are, on the layout, with the red writings, or shaded components.

Indeed, this was done so those who have OTS can easily mod to the FM, if they want.

The FM, the OD would indeed be much creamier than the S&M. The S&M's a bit for rockin out as well, so it carries some bite.

Thanks!

Been watching the UPS updates as my new amp travels half way across the world. Due for delivery 11/25. There are pics of it on the Ceriatone web site. (FM50 head with built in c'lator). Unfortunately, I'll be out of town for the next two weeks and won't get to play it. Oh well, it will make for a good Christmas season when I return home.
