I have two 2 x 12" closed back speaker cabs, one loaded with G12-65s and the other loaded with EVM-12Ls. I have been playing my HRM 100 watter through them for awhile now and it seems to me that the G12-65s are a better match for this amp. I don't know how to describe it but to me, the tone just seems more creamy and smooth. Is it just my imagination or are my ears telling me something you guys already know?  Grin

Speaker preferences have been discussed in this forum over and over again. If you prefer G12-65s, use them.

I would prefer 65:s for distortion (rounds off the sound) and EVM for cleans (more high end sparkle). Neither of the speakers is optimal for both sounds (IMHO).
