I bet it's those KT-88's that really give it a different character.  Grin

This weekend I'm converting one of my amps from 6L6 to EL-34, and testing against a nearly identical amp with KT-66's. Hopefully in a week I'll FINALLY be able to decide how I want to build my Ceriatone!

where are the mic capsules from?
Any tips on mounting them?

Dr Tone Control, Strats mostly, prefer saturated clean tones, a little OD sometimes
BM50, JTM45, 36w EF86, DZ30, Expression, + non-Ceriatones (Matchless, Victoria, Wienbrock)
Just started with pedals a little after a 10 year purist spell, but usually just delay

Hi Tone,

Capsules are neodymium instrument mic inserts from Germany, custom made copies of a Zenhiser  609. Usually we by them in boxes of 20 for £35 each.
