Hi all,

I've been looking for a pedal for my light OD needs for the strat, and saw some of Jack Zuckers YouTube clips of the TIM and was very impressed. I've read some discussions that the TIM don't work well with amps that have scooped mids.

Checking to see if anyone here has any first hand experiences with a TIM pedal into their ceriatone bluesmaster and have any feedback?

Tim pedals are readily available here is Australia, so trying one in person isn't really an option.

Hi Strat,

Actually I do use a TIM and a klon klone ( Monsterpiece STUD ) with my BM.  I use the TIM for what you have in mind, the klone for a clean boost, the OD channel from the amp for a heavier OD. I don't find any problem about scooped mids but keep in mind I'm usually using the PAB. The TIM is a great pedal and a good addition to your pedalboard. Also buy it from Paul, he's one of the best. Hope this helps.

The TIM is an excellent pedal and Paul is is a great guy to deal with.  Personally, I couldn't get it to work right with my setup, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it out.  Go for the Timmy, though.  @ $135, you can't beat it.

Thanks for the feedback guys,

Was really digging the Hendrix/SRV tones the TIM was producing in Jacks clips.

Might have to bite the bullet and place an order with Paul C

I use a Fulltone OCD v4 (18 volts) into clean channel of 100W Bluesmaster with my strat ... just to give it a bit more drive for solo's. I don't leave it on, typically.
