I'd need to get an attenuator or 2 to turn up my ceriatones.

I have an 18W, JTM45 and DC30, but can't practice without blowing a few ear drums.

I considered getting an isocab made, but that's going to take quite a bit of space, and also getting mics + mic pres + headphones will possibly cost as much as getting a weber mass and shipping it over to malaysia.

Any has experience running a weber mass on their ceriatone OTs? Any possibility of ruining them?

Thanks in advance.

Used a THD with my OTS. It helps but you don't lose a lot of volume before you lose a lot of tone. Provided you connect a speaker and use the correct impedance settings, no you wont hurt your amp.

I'm going to have London Power Powerscaling installed on my next build (a DC-30). I think that will provide better control of volume with less loss of tone.

Thanks.

Have you tried Dana Hall's VVR? USD30 , before delivery
It brings down the volume to 10% minimum.

I did ask Nik if he could incorporate that into a build before, he wouldn't mind as long as you sent him the board and components Dana has.

We can't get the mosfet required in Malaysia.

No not tried that one, they do seem to be becoming more popular these powerscaling devices. I'm going to go with the London Power one as theres a tech not far from me who's an accredited installer.

I have tried one version of powerscaling in a Matamp GT1 and was very impressed indeed.
