Holy Moly! Lovely brace of 'Pauls you have there my friend - of course what's better than a Les Paul? Two Les Pauls of course!

Here's my '58 chambered - only 7.4 lbs & sings like a bird... looking now for another chambered LP,  maybe a '59...

The chambering certainly doesn't reduce sustain- but it certainly has more sustain than my previous non-chambered LP.  The weight reduction is wonderful however- especially as I have a back injury & the tone is a lot more 'open & airy' rather like a good 335...  if you have chance to try one- check 'em out- it's sooo nice playing a long 2-3hour gig without the back ache!

I am drooling!

I took out my ole Jap copy out just to test the CP103.
(I do have a real Gibby, ' 56 Junior mind you! Well, it's different than these..so).

Then I got to watching The Who at Leeds, many many times.

I am in a vulnerable state now, dont show me these nice guitars! Smiley

Ok, I'm in.  2008 special order wine red flame top Classic Antique.  It's chambered, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
