Title: Re: Les Pauls Post by: Mitch on June 22, 2008, 09:51:49 AM Holy Moly! Lovely brace of 'Pauls you have there my friend - of course what's better than a Les Paul? Two Les Pauls of course!
Here's my '58 chambered - only 7.4 lbs & sings like a bird... looking now for another chambered LP, maybe a '59... Title: Re: Les Pauls Post by: Dumbleseeker on June 23, 2008, 07:09:22 PM Beautiful Les paul!!!!! 8) Tell me about the chamber -does it give it more sustain?
Title: Re: Les Pauls Post by: Mitch on June 25, 2008, 05:19:08 PM The chambering certainly doesn't reduce sustain- but it certainly has more sustain than my previous non-chambered LP. The weight reduction is wonderful however- especially as I have a back injury & the tone is a lot more 'open & airy' rather like a good 335... if you have chance to try one- check 'em out- it's sooo nice playing a long 2-3hour gig without the back ache!
