Sounds pretty good. The Hodad is a lil darker than the Dano DC59, though. I think it's because of the block of wood running down the center for the bridge and bigsby. Sounds very, very nice, though.

I rarely come to this side of the forum but when I did I saw that post of the Hodad.  I have the same one and love it.  Great guitar! The only thing I don't like is how one adjusts the bridge, pain in the ass and the truss rod is not easily accessible to say the least as one has to take the neck off to reach it OY!

That being said I will say it again that is a great guitar.  Plays nice, sounds nice and looks friggin killer.  Cheers.

Thanks, man. I woulda responded faster, but i kinda forgot about the forums  Embarrassed

On the truss rod issue, i have had a DC 59 since 1998 and live in FL with temp and humidity swings and my Dano has never needed adjustment. they put good necks on those buggers  Grin
