What happened ! ! !

I am now the PROUD owner of a Ceriatone DC30
I bought it of a guy who advertised it on Preloved.co.uk for £425.00. It was factory assembled and came in a head case complete with a Matchelss Logo. Apparently its around 3 years old . . . Im using it through a tatty old Laney 2x12 that houses a Celestion Greenback and a Celestion Vintage 30 and it sounds absolutely amazing . . .  Smiley Smiley
Im just finding my way around at the moment.  Master Volume and Half Power options
are excellent but the Volume Control is PRETTY AGRESSIVE . . .  Sad

Very slight movements result in MASSIVE volume changes . . . Any ideas on how to CALM this down ! ! !

It is probably just the taper of the pot. Pull the chassis, put a ohm meter on the wiper and one other lead, turn the pot and then compare it to an audio taper pot of the same value.
