I've found the combo cab I like but I was wondering if anyone has done the lightup faceplate like matchless and badcat does... I was also wondering if that can be run off of the amp or if you have to install some voltage regulator?
Any help on places to locate a faceplate and lighting stuff would be great..

Thanks all

They run off the same 6.3VAC heater current that runs the pilot lights on other amps.

So I'm safe to tap off of my pilot light?

Sure, on a real Matchless, the light up faceplate is used in lieu of a pilot light.  Just double check current draw whatever you use.  Instead of one bulb on the chassis front, they wire in several inside the chassis.  here's a pic, notice the three lamp fixtures in the chassis (same kind of bulb)...

What surprises me is they still use incandescent lights, I'm surprised it's not LED's which (in theory) would reduce hum.

Thanks Wyatt this really helps me out,
I had a badcat hotcat 30 and the lights were different
but useing the standard pilot bulbs is much easier to wire up,
I just ordered a lighbox from matchless I had my own logo done,

It should work great

Believe it or not, I called Matchless and just asked to purchase the light assembly with face plate.  It cost, I think $50.  It looks great.  Lights up beautiful
