would like to build a dc 30 clone , but am wondering what transformers will work in this build. i know westlab has a set  available and tds as well. has anyone built a dc 30 using vox replacement transformers from hammond?

The ceriatone transformers are great...really.....Seriously

Do not bother with any others...

As soon as you hear her you will have all your faith restored in going with the complete kit

Just get a Dario Miniwatt EF86, cheaper than Telefunken but as good and crucial to get best sound from the second channel.

I tried 12 different Ef86 all sounds differently.
my favorite so fare is Telefunken nos EF86  western germany made.

The EF86 tubes can sound so differently.
