Hi, let me ramble.
I usually go and check the amps section on TGP, to see if I can find anything interesting. Usually the interesting stuff is either here, or at the ampgarage. And now we also have powerscaling.com.
But those guys get the cake for funny! I've noticed that they are now taking what they think is 'a high tone' road, and they want to pretend that they weren't prejudiced and rude.
Seriously, it's a gas!

anyone go to HC?

not just for amp stuff I mean.

I reckon it's gone down hill, so many people have gotten banned it seems...from what I've seen anyway. I don't know if I should post, I'll probably get myself in trouble somehow.  Tongue

The problem with HC is that you have to wade through so much sh*t that the whole thing becomes tiresome after some time.
But you do find intelligent life there from time to time.

I enjoy that board for the most part, just recently it seems to have lost it's fun.

Well, sort of.

I don't mind looking through all the garbage most of the time, some of it is quite amusing.

I hate HC.. 90% of the topics are garbage or pure spam without any interest.. .

TGP is  better but seems to be getting a bit downhill lately..

There's a lesson there somewhere, I think.
When a website veers away from their original mission and become 'property' of a few things get out of hand.
You just can't mix commerce and free exchange of information, IMHO.
If I own a site and I want, say, to protect my amp-building buddies' interests, things will get downhill fast, as far as free information flow goes.
For those who want political-b.s.-free info, thanks to God there are still sites like this one, theampgarage, and powerscaling.com.
