Not sure which wattage amp 50 or 100 but the spec sheet you posted does not have the correct bias (93 rather than 60 )voltage and also does not have the 5 volt tap for the relay switching.

If 50watt the correct PT to use from Classictone is the 40-18073
Check spec sheet on that one for reference.

As for 100 watt the 40-18042 has correct voltages but does not have the 5 volt tap so you would have to add small trannie for the 5-6 volt just like HAD did originally

Someone suggested stealing 6v from the heaters.. Is this a possibility.,

Another bias suggestion was for me too look at the Marshall 100 watt bias supply and change the necessary caps and resistors...,

Your thoughts??

This is the HRM BM 100..

Also,, is there a good PT out there that might be more suitable ??

I honestly do not know if you can use the 6.3 heater tap or not, maybe someone else can chime in. But I suppose there is a reason Nik had the 6 volt tap added on his trannies.
The most suitable trannie for your build is going to be the 40-18042, then add the $7 radio shack trannie for the relay switching or get the trannie from Nik IMO.

i think there was some concern with noise from the filaments going through the relays or vice versa, or the voltage regulator not liking the 6.3v or some such, i can't remember now.

Ok, I'll pick up a 6 vac tranny at RS..
As for the bias supply... Any suggestions as to what layout I should try to mimick?

None in town... Go figure...

  Will this do the trick?

Yes that should work fine!
just use 1 of the 6v legs and the 0v for the 6volts , safe off the remaining 6 v wire.

Thats 6 vac, which is what you want. Not DC
What did you decide to do about the PT though?

"What did you decide to do about the PT though?"

Keeping the tranny. Nik & a few others suggested a larger resistor to drop the bias voltage.
I haven't tried to tackle that yet..
Got to figure out how to approach it.
