Title: HRM50 - 370 vdc on speaker output both sides Post by: trancas on March 05, 2010, 09:02:57 PM I have finished assembly of an HRM 50 and have 371 vdc on the speaker jack (both sides). The preamp and poweramp appear to be working, but sounds horrible. I've disconnected a few things but am unable to isolate it. I had the OT primaries disconnected with no luck. The voltage is on all taps of the impedance switch. Any ideas?
Title: Re: HRM50 - 370 vdc on speaker output both sides Post by: trancas on March 06, 2010, 11:55:44 PM I'm not sure what the problem was, but I ended up taking the power supply board out, rechecking every connection, and think there was a bad ground somewhere. I ended up with the OT sqeal and swapped the leads to fix as is mentioned elsewhere in this forum. Time to adjust and find some sweet tone...
