hi there! I recently built a 20w lead bass based on nic's updated layout. when i turn it on to check voltages everything seems fine. When compared to nix's voltage chart, all my readings are slightly higher. i think that is probably ok though. When i plug in a guitar, i get no sound from the instrument out of any of the inputs. There is a little bit of amp noise coming through the speakers. nothing that seems out of the ordinary, just typical of what any amp would sound like without a guitar plugged in. I have gone through and double checked all my soldier joints and then checked everything with a meter. I'm stumped though. The only deviation from his layout that i made was to connect the common wire from the output transformer to the speaker jacks. I could't find a connection for that wire in his layout but assumed it would go there. If that is wrong or if you think i'm trouble shooting the wrong area, please let me know. thanks
