When the amp gets warm the volume cuts in and out. Even the light dims and flashes. Recently I played it for a while and now the tone controls don't work. I bought a DC30 a few year ago, and like an idiot I didn't address the problem right away. I have other amps, so it wasn't too urgent.

It looks like there may have been others with a similar problem, was there a problem with the circuit at some point?

thanks in advance

Intermittent problems due to temperature change would imply a scold solder joint somewhere.  As the circuit warms up and components expand, it pulls the joint apart.

Tom

It'd be good to post gut shot pics.

Plus, it'd be good to email directly as well.

If you bought from me, then you know I reply to emails in just a few hrs.

So thats the best way to ask.

Honestly, for important or business questions, i do not get why ppl post in forum, or use facebook chat, YM, ICQ, or the likes?

Email would be best, and you'd get the answer in a short while...

Thanks!
