im done everything else but i can't seem to figure out where the bias pot is connected. please someone help me! thank you for your time!!! Title: Re: Bias Pot for 5F6-A layout Post by: grod915 on May 27, 2008, 10:20:38 AM According to Ted's Schematic, you replace R19 with a 50K Linear Pot to create an adjustable fixed bias. R19 is the horizontal 56K resistor on the left side of the layout. It is connected to the 15K resistor on one side and the other lead runs between the two 8uf caps to ground.
So, just replace the 56K resistor with a 50K-L pot and your good to go! Hope this helps and good luck, Gerry. Title: Re: Bias Pot for 5F6-A layout Post by: mitz on May 27, 2008, 06:05:55 PM thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

just have a fixed bias? thanx:) Title: Re: Bias Pot for 5F6-A layout Post by: bloodedge on July 06, 2008, 06:23:30 PM no need to install it if you dont whant it.
can adjust bias by swapping the resistor. But a pot internal/external is indeed great. |
