Hello to all, heard about this forum on Surfguitar 101. I am looking a Vox Ac 30 kit. I have all all the cabinet parts / speakers. Does Ceria offer a direct replacement kit? Thanks

That sounds interesting.  Hope the masters that be might respond to this.  Or ......... is one of the current products exceptionally close to an AC30?  I think you'd see some response to this given how popular it is.

Thanks

Train Wreck Rocket is basically an AC30 Top Boost (Ceriatone Rockit).
Some of the Matchless are close as well.

The Ceriatone kit is not a close representation at least of the 60s JMI Voxes -- it would be GREAT if they'd make those though; the AC30/6 and the models before it are the amps I'd most like to see added at Ceriatone.  That and a Marshall Major and a Mini-Major if a solid design can be had, transformers are available, etc.

Another thing that would be nice would be an SVT, and a nice version of the old biggest and best VHT power amp would be super.

The Dizzy (DZ) 30 it Nik's take on the Matchless DC30, which is Matchless' take on the AC30. The Matchless/Ceriatone will have a different sound due to increased power supply filtering compared to the original design. some say this is a very good thing, some disagree. Also, as stated the Train Wreck Rocket, which Nik builds as the Rockit, is very much like an AC30 Top boost.

Hope this helps!

Overdrive is like peanut butter. Some like it crunchy, some like it creamy.
Bluesmaster 50 2x12 combo and some guitars.
