Randall Smith is pretty agressive when it comes to protecting his designs. Maybe that´s why it´s so rare to see Mesa clones...

Ya, its the ONLY boogie I would ever consider owning.....sorry boogie lovers.  Actually, the Lonestar is a great sounding amp aside from reliability issues.  It's so non-boogie though that it barely counts. Grin

apparently the dumble ODS and mark I are considered to be in the same 'ball park' by some, so i guess that's that.

i think santana uses an ODS and a mark I in an A/B setup or something
