Not exactly sure what one of those does but just an outboard buffered loop with the choice of series or parrellel effects would be fine.

A Dumbleator kit would be a nice idea. There really isn't a whole lot of stuff inside of one, so it would make a nice DYI project.

A dumblator kit will be a good idea. I don't use effects in the loop (I put the effects after the mic) but I would get one just to have with my amp, in case I needed it.

Look up the Klien-ulator on the Overtone pages, or email Nik - this is the Dumbleator equivalent...
