Even Nik couldn't produce it for even close to what the used ones sell for.  I can buy three around here for $300-350.

I used an early X-amp for years and years.  Honestly, it's a great workhorse of an amp and does a lot good, but nothing great.  The shared EQ, Presence and Reverb controls mean you can dial in one channel nicely, but the other will sound like ass.  Plus, I've never seen one fail, despite it's construction, so it just doesn't seem worth tooling up for.
