I think it would be cool to do a bass amp.
I just got the OTS and I know Ceriatone quality is #1
A bassist friend of mine asked if ceriatone offered bass amps as well and mentioned his want (lust ) for an Ampeg SVT classic sounding bass amp.
Anyways Nik why not?

Nik is releasing a 200 watt Dumble SSS clone which could definatly be used for bass,(Alexander Dumble actually plays bass) it was designed for lots of clean headroom.
As long as you have a proper bass cab it would easily handle it and probably sound sweet.

The harmonically rich sound and legendary performance of the Ampeg SVT are redefined in the SVT Classic. This dynamically powerful all-tube bass amp delivers a thunderous 300-Watts of unsurpassed quality, reliability and tonal flexibility.

I guess som of the things in SSS are pretty SVT influenced.

Like the driver tube, and the Hi/Lo filters.

I havent really seen all the old schematics of amps with the filters. But the SVT's midrange select does use inductors. It could be the case Dumble was influenced by it.

On that note, was there a Sunn Model T that used inductors in its tonestack? anybody got schematic for that particular varant?

I heard there's some that did, but I havent found the schemo.

Thanks!

Sunn Model T Super is the schematic with the 1hy inductor on the filter network off the mid pot.
