I got mine from Nik.

The power trannie should be easy to find as it uses the same as the Marshall 50w Plexi but the OT trannie might be a bit harder to find as it is the same as the DC30, so that will take a bit of tracking down.

I don't know but try Hammond or Heyboer but I think with most of these companies they have plenty of Fender and Marshall replacements but other types are harder to find.

Cheers
Brian

I don't know if this is of any help to you, but the Hot Cat 30 uses TDS Trannies
MAINS = TDS 1161
OUTPUT = TDS 1163
CHOKE = TDS 1162

Yeah tds definitely has them and they have been great at corresponding with me. I just cant afford a full set. I have been wondering about hammonds. Any suggestions on a certain pt and ot?

I think you would have to ask Nik about the OT trannie, I have no idea what the CT Ohmage is but I can tell you it needs about 362v.
I had a look on the Hammond site and the only PT that was close to what voltages the Stray Cat uses is  the one for a Vox AC15 290PX.
But I suggest you ask Nik for advise before you purchase any trannies it could save a lot of messing around.
Cheers

Are you guys talking about the primary Z for the OT of this amp?
It would be about 3.4k.
Are you guys looking at OT's for a Stray Cat build?

i would build something like a hotcat 30r with hiwatt OT (selector of capacitors) (and probably with a 3th switchable ef86 channel) ...at this time i don't know how to implement a reverb :(

(sorry for my english)

I noticed Mercury Magnetics does one for the Ceriatone DC30 which is the same OT as the Stray Cat

  it would sound all right, but not as good as the DC30 transformer. I should know, we build them. My Dad designed all the original Matchless transformers, and we build them all by hand. If i can help let me know. Might be cheaper than you think...  Bob, Transformer Design and Supply
