A layout makes a poor replacement for a bill of materials, but that and the various schematics it may be all that's available right now.  I would definitely prefer working from a schematic, which is more the road map of the amp, than a layout which is more just for assembly purposes.

Agreed , there is definitely some work to be done when building a BOM from layout but the info is there. If you dont know what voltage rating the caps are for instance you may need to refer to pics which are also posted. It is possible though.

Have fun

When in doubt, use 630V rated caps? Smiley

Honestly, they're not hard. Almost all amps are the same, except a few.

I have always said we charge very little for complete amps, but people usually say they want to learn.

So, if we ever decide to bring kits again, i'd provide the BOM.

Right now, my BOM says " Completely wired board" <- since we did offer this only. The BOM doesnt list whatever's on the board, since thats not needed.

Thanks!
