All you need is a schematic.

The Bad Cat 30 schematic currently around on the web doesn't have it.

And the bad cat 30 clean channel is triode based, not pentode based like the C30 lead channel, so the two 5-way tone stacks are probably set up differently.

I am not familiar with these amps, you may want to just ask Nik. I do not see why it could not be done. I suppose you would need to consider available real estate on the board/chassis. And of course, you would need to install a pot somewhere.
Good Luck

Hi

Not sure, I havent looked at it, the new one.

Should be possible but could be a pain due to space?

Thanks!

Nik

Hi Nik
I would like to see a 5 way tone selector mode as well for the clean channel, maybe put it on the back of the amp as a set and forget.

I find it too bright and sterile for Strats. Even on the neck pickup with the tone on about 5 I still have to dial the brilliance knob almost off, about the only thing I could see it useful for is 70's funk.

The gain channel on the other hand, don't change a thing  ;D (except for maybe an FX loop) This channel loves Strats.

The best song I can think of to describe this channel with a Strat neck pickup is "Lights" by Journey, wind the guitar volume back to about 6 or 7 you get great bluesy tone and up on 10 for the solo.
Wack a Univibe in the front end and ride the volume and Robin Trower Bridge of Sighs tones are there too.
